Istrian peninsula: magical and ancient places for your holidays on a sailing boat

A green peninsula just few miles away from Italian coasts, which can also be a starting point for your holidays on a boat: Istria, just few hours of navigation and you will find yourself in a new and familiar dimension, in a place full of wonderful fishermen villages with their typical Venetian architectures and their small docks made of stone. Once you’re ashore, enter one of the many restaurants and taste fresh seafood: you will be spoiled by choice.

Not to mention Piran, also known as the Saint Tropez of Adriatic sea, one of the first villages you can find coming from Italy; actually, it is still in Slovenia, but boundaries have no relevance when you’re sailing. Going down south, you’ll find Umag, Pore?, Rovinj and the village of Pula, with its wonderful Roman amphitheatre.
